Terms: This is a permanent, full time job Shift work is involved.

Salary: will be $17.00 to $23.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed college or technical training.

Experience: at least three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have 3rd Period Apprentice.

Work Setting: General manufacturing

Type of Machine Experience: Computer Numerical Control (CNC)

Machining Tools and Machines: CNC machines, Electric discharge machines

Measuring Tools: Micrometers, Callipers, Gauges

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Specific Skills: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables, Program computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools, Set up and adjust production machinery, Verify dimensions of machined tools and parts using precision measuring instruments, Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances, Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding, Standing for extended periods

Work Site Environment: Non-smoking, Air conditioned

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Public transportation is not available
