Terms: This is a seasonal, full time job, which requires working days and weekends.

Salary: will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant.

Experience: at least five years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Driver’s Licence (Class 3 or D).

Type of Trucking and Equipment: Straight truck (4,600kg+ or 10,000lbs+ with 3+ axles)

Type of Travel: Short-haul, Local

Documentation Knowledge: Bill of lading, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip)

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Specific Skills: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, Loading and unloading of goods, Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo, Plan travel schedules and routes, Receive and relay information to central dispatcher

Additional Skills: Professionalism in customer service

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Valid driver’s licence, Public transportation is not available

Essential Skills: Reading text, Oral communication, Working with others, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing

Other Information: Looking for experienced D drivers. Knowledge of GTA & surrounding areas. On-call basis. Average 20 - 40+ hours per week.
