Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days.

Salary: will be $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year for a 40 hour week.
Notes: bonus, and other benefits.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school, some college or technical training, some university.

Experience: at least three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association.

Area of Specialization: Transportation, Municipal or urban, Environmental, Water resources, Sanitation

Work Experience: Design, Installation, maintenance and inspection of equipment or facilities, Research and development, Operations, Quality assurance or control, Computer software development, Purchasing, procurement and contracts, Environmental assessments, Site remediation, Health and safety, Marketing and sales

Construction Specialization: Residential, Irrigation and drainage

Municipal Specialization: Sewers and sewage treatment, Water control structures and systems, Storm drainage and control, Urban planning

Transportation Specialization: Roads and highways

Work Setting: Engineering consulting company

Project and Personnel Management Skills: Manage research projects, Manage field studies, Financial or budget management, Multidisciplinary projects co-ordination, Preparing or evaluating technical proposals, Staff recruitment and selection, Staff training and development, Supervise field crews, Supervise other technical personnel
