Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working evenings.

Salary: will be $19.00 to $19.75 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school, completed college or technical training.

Experience: two to three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Welder Trade Certification.

Welding Techniques: Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) (TIG)

Materials: Stainless steel

Weight Handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)

Specific Skills: Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment, Operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines, Determine weldability of materials

Additional Skills: Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Welding helmet

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Standing for extended periods

Essential Skills: Reading text, Oral communication, Working with others, Critical thinking

Other Information: Candidates must have stainless steel and aluminum experience. These positions are on afternoons.
