Terms: This is a temporary, full time job, which requires working days. Some overtime will be available.

Salary: will be $10.00 per hour for a 48 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: the best part of a year.

Credentials required: The applicant should have First Aid Certificate.

Children’s Ages: School age (6 - 12 years)

Work Setting: Own home, Employer’s home

Specific Skills: Supervise and care for children, Help children with homework, Organize, activities such as games and outings for children, Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, Prepare and serve nutritious meals, Shop for food and household supplies, Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents, Observe children and prepare reports for home care or babysitting agency, Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties, Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, Tend to emotional well-being of children, Take children to and from school and to appointments, Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children

Transportation/Travel Information: Willing to travel, Public transportation is available

Work Location Information: Work in employer’s/client’s home, Room and board provided
