Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, and weekends. Shift work is involved.

Salary: will be $10.25 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: at least a full year’s experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have First Aid Certificate, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate.

Work Setting: Employer’s home

Specific Skills: Prepare and serve nutritious meals, Shop for food and household supplies, Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home

Work Location Information: Work in employer’s/client’s home, Room and board provided, Relocation costs covered by employer

Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Oral communication, Working with others, Job task planning and organizing

Other Information: Care/supervision of disabled adult with short-term memory. Job includes; remind and ensure medicines are taken, take to appointments and therapy, assist/supervise with hygiene and with cooking. etc.
