Education: The applicant should have some high school, some college or technical training.

Specific Skills: Interpret welding process specifications, Spray welds, Operate hoisting and lifting equipment, Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products

Additional Skills: Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes, Polish sheet metal

Security and Safety: Bondable, Basic security clearance

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Standing for extended periods

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation

Other Information: Experience with TIG welding of GA 12. 14 and 16. Able to read imperial and metric CAD drawings or sketches. Fitting and assembly of stainless steel tanks. Willing to work overtime if needed.
