Terms: This is a seasonal, full time job

Salary: will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant.

Education: The applicant should have some high school.

Experience: a modicum is required.

Credentials required: The applicant should have First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate.

Work Setting: Camp, Educational institution, Recreational institution

Type of Clients: Children, Teens

Area of Functional Expertise: Athletic safety or standards regulation, Coaching, Event planning and organization, Program planning and development, Program implementation and delivery, Public relations or public education

Specific Skills: Schedule facility programs and staff, Co-ordinate facility sports, fitness and recreation programs and activities, Purchase facility sports equipment and other supplies, Train staff and volunteers, Develop program budgets, Deliver presentations at conferences, workshops and symposia, Design, develop and deliver social/recreational programs

Additional Skills: Supervise professional staff, program leaders and instructors and volunteer staff, Recruit and select professional staff, program leaders and instructors and volunteers, Answer requests, inquiries and complaints, Perform administrative tasks, Use computer applications

Security and Safety: Criminal record check

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Tight deadlines, Fast-paced environment

Work Location Information: Staff accommodation available

Ability to Supervise: More than 20 people, Working groups, Committees, Staff in various areas of responsibility
