Terms: This is a seasonal, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, and weekends.

Salary: will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: is an asset.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Driver’s licence.

Area of Specialization: Landscape installation, Lawn care, Grounds maintenance

Machinery and Equipment: Chain saw, Tractor mower, Sod cutter, Fork-lift, Backhoe, Tractor, Front-end loader, Pick-up truck, Small engine equipment

Specific Skills: Supervise landscaping and grounds maintenance labourers, Resolve work related problems, Train workers, Maintain performance records, Prepare production reports

Security and Safety: Basic security clearance, Criminal record check, Driver’s validity license check

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Large workload

Work Site Environment: Outdoors

Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver’s licence, Own transportation

Ability to Supervise: 10 people or less

Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Significant use of memory

Other Information: Industrial Education Supervisory Training & Basic Safety Course would be an asset Sod Production and harvesting would be an asset No Public Transportation available
