Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Shift work is involved. Some overtime will be available.

Education: The applicant should have some college or technical training.

Experience: at least three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have 3rd Period Apprentice.

Tool and Die Fabrication Experience: Gauges or instruments, Metal cutting, forming or bending dies, Compound or progressive transfer dies, Extrusion dies

Metal Mould-Making Experience: Blow moulds, Injection moulds, Compression moulds

Patternmaking Experience: Metal patternmaking

Specific Skills: Verify dimensions of machine parts, Inspect and test final products, Set up machine tools

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Standing for extended periods

Work Site Environment: Noisy
