Terms: This is a temporary, full time job, which requires working days and evenings.

Salary: will be $14.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: at least a full year’s experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Forklift Operator Certification.

Work Setting: Warehouse, Retail and wholesale distribution centre

Vehicle and Equipment Experience: Dollies and hand trucks, Pallet lifters, Industrial lift trucks and forklifts, Reach trucks, Radio frequency scanners (RFS)

Weight Handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)

Specific Skills: Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment, Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload and move materials and products, Pick orders and stock, Weigh materials and goods, Make labels and attach to goods, Wrap goods, Pack and unpack goods, Sort goods, Stack goods

Additional Skills: Build pallets, Ship orders

Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Driving record check (abstract)

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Attention to detail

Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver’s licence

Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Computer use

Other Information: CERTIFICATION MANDATORY. RF technology required with AS 400 experience. 8 weeks assignment . Could lead to a permanent job.
