Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Shift work is involved. Some overtime will be available.

Education: The applicant should have some high school, some college or technical training, some university.

Product Experience/Knowledge: Books, China and silverware, Cosmetics and toiletries, Appliances, Nutrition and health products, Office supplies, Jewellery

Specific Skills: Operate cash register, Customer service oriented, Set up displays of merchandise in windows or display cases, Process money, cheque and credit/debit card payment, Operate computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems, Provide advice about merchandise, Suggest ways to care for goods, Provide cost estimates on materials, Promote and sell memberships, Suggestive selling, Work with minimal supervision, Negotiate credit terms, trade-in allowances, warranties and delivery dates, Provide home decorating consultations, Prepare floral arrangements, Provide advice on wedding plans/services, Provide advice on home entertainment systems and other electronic equipment, Provide information on computers and associated equipment, Perform minor repairs to products or equipment, Perform major repairs to products or equipment, Arrange for repairs to products or equipment

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Travel expenses not paid by employer
