Credentials required: The applicant should have Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification.

Automotive Service Technician Specific Skills: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems, Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer’s specifications, Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements

Mechanical Repairer Specific Skills: Inspect and test mechanical units, Repair and replace mechanical units

Truck Mechanic Specific Skills: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems

Additional Skills: Review work orders and discuss work with supervisor

Security and Safety: Bondable

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Hand-eye co-ordination

Transportation/Travel Information: Own vehicle
