Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working evenings.

Salary: will be $1,100.00 per for a 60 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have some high school.

Experience: at least five years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Driver’s Licence (Class 1 or A), Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, Commercial Vehicle Operator’s Registration (CVOR) Certificate.

Documentation Knowledge: Driver logbook, Bill of lading, Trip reports

Communication Equipment Experience: Trip recorder (on-board computer)

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Specific Skills: Loading and unloading of goods

Additional Skills: Professionalism in customer service

Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Driving record check (abstract)

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Valid driver’s licence

Essential Skills: Reading text, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others

Other Information: 17:00 start.Kingston switches. Must have min. 5 yrs exp. Must have experience with trains. Good abstract, CVOR & CRS are required. Must be able to meet MTO LCV qualifications.
