Area of Customs Broker Specialization: Tariffs, Customs legislation

Area of Ship Broker Specialization: Dry cargo space, Container cargo space

Specific Customs Broker Skills: Prepare and process import and export documents and other forms on behalf of clients, Sign import and export documents on behalf of clients using power of attorney, Arrange for payment of duties, taxes, storage and transportation of imported goods, Arrange for bonds to cover duty goods, Quote duty and tax rates on commodities, Advise clients on export and import restrictions, Advise clients on tariff systems, Advise clients on letters of credit, Advise clients on insurance requirements and other custom related matters

Specific Ship Broker Skills: Negotiate rates and terms
