Terms: This is a temporary, full time job, which requires working days and evenings.

Salary: will be $11.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Experience: is an asset.

Work Setting: Food and beverage plant

Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Specific Skills: Transport raw materials, finished products and packaging materials, Manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers, Check products and packaging for basic quality defects

Additional Skills: Food safety/handling skills

Security and Safety: Bondable

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, Manual dexterity, Hand-eye co-ordination, Standing for extended periods

Essential Skills: Reading text, Numeracy, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Significant use of memory, Finding information

Other Information: Efficient workers are needed to prepare fruit and vegetables for a major grocery store chain. Experience is an asset but not required, however applicants should be comfortable working with a knife.
