Credentials required: The applicant should have Driver’s Licence (Class 1 or A), Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, Commercial Vehicle Operator’s Registration (CVOR) Certificate, Commercial Driver Registration Program (CDRP) Card, WHMIS Certificate.

Type of Travel: Long-haul, International

Documentation Knowledge: Driver logbook, Bill of lading, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Trans-border documentation

Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Specific Skills: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, Receive and relay information to central dispatcher

Additional Skills: Professionalism in customer service

Security and Safety: Basic security clearance, Criminal record check, Driving record check (abstract), Drug test

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Transportation/Travel Information: Willing to travel cross-border, Valid driver’s licence

Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Oral communication, Working with others

Other Information: Must be fast carded, minimum 2 years driving experience Canada and USA. Company is looking for singles and teams. temp to perm. company will hire after 30,000 miles. $0.35/mile.
