Terms: This is a temporary, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, and weekends. Shift work is involved.

Salary: will be $10.25 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: at least three years’ experience.

Type of Work Experience: Truss manufacturing and building, Framing and shingling

Specific Skills: Assemble door panels, trusses or modular components to make prefabricated housing, Inspect wood products for conformance to quality standards, Mark defective parts or products for repair, Trim, smooth, and shape surfaces

Own Tools/Equipment: Tools, Steel-toed safety boots, Safety glasses/goggles

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilites: Attention to detail

Transportation/Travel Information: Own vehicle

Essential Skills: Reading text, Numeracy, Oral communication, Working with others

Other Information: Candidates with previous roof truss assembly experience an asset.
