Terms: This is a temporary, full time job, which requires working days and evenings. Shift work is involved.

Salary: will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: at least three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have WHMIS Certificate.

Work Setting: Trucking company, Manufacturing plant, Warehouse

Weight Handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)

Specific Skills: Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment, Pick orders and stock, Pack and unpack goods, Sort goods, Stack goods, Maintain and organize inventory, Operate computerized inventory control systems

Security and Safety: Bondable

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Safety glasses/goggles

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation

Essential Skills: Numeracy, Oral communication, Working with others, Finding information, Continuous learning

Other Information: Experience in automotive parts manufacturing a benefit.
