Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days. Shift work is involved.

Salary: will be $38.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school, completed college or technical training.

Experience: at least three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Stationary Engineer 2nd Class.

Type of Equipment: Computerized control systems, Low pressure boilers, High pressure boilers, Pumps, Turbines, Compressors, Gauges, Meters, Programmable logic controllers (PLC)

Area of Specialization: Light and power

Specific Skills: Operate automated or computerized control systems, Monitor and inspect plant equipment, Measure temperature, fuel flow and pressure, Analyze and record instrument readings and equipment malfunction, Troubleshoot, perform corrective action or minor repairs as required, Perform routine equipment maintenance, Clean and lubricate machinery and components, Maintain daily log of operation, maintenance and safety activities, Write plant or building operation reports, Assist in the development of operation, maintenance and safety procedures, Use computerized Building Automation System, Use computerized Preventive Maintenance System

Additional Skills: Coordinate maintenance activities of trade contractors, Read electrical schematics, blueprints and other technical diagrams
