Terms: This is a temporary, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, and nights.

Salary: will be $13.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed college or technical training.

Experience: is an asset.

Credentials required: The applicant should have WHMIS Certificate.

Work Setting: Manufacturing plant

Type of Special Purpose or Mass Production Machine Tools: Automatic lathes

Specific Skills: Operate and set up machines to perform repetitive machining operations, Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers), Enter codes specifying speed, feed and cut of the toolpath for computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination

Work Site Environment: Noisy

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Public transportation is not available

Essential Skills: Working with others
