Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days.

Salary: will be $12.00 to $13.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have some high school.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Forklift Operator Certification, WHMIS Certificate.

Work Setting: Manufacturing plant

Vehicle and Equipment Experience: Dollies and hand trucks, Industrial lift trucks and forklifts

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Specific Skills: Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment, Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload and move materials and products, Pick orders and stock, Wrap goods, Pack and unpack goods, Sort goods, Stack goods, Maintain and organize inventory, Operate computerized inventory control systems

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Bending, crouching, kneeling

Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver’s licence
