Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days, nights, and weekends. Some overtime will be available.

Salary: will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant.

Education: The applicant should have some high school, completed high school.

Experience: is an asset.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Driver’s Licence (Class 3 or D), Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate, WHMIS Certificate.

Type of Construction: Industrial, commercial and institutional, Residential, Water mains, Driveways, Sidewalks and curbs, Roads and bridges, Pipelines, Underground and tunnel work, Hydroelectric dams

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs), Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)

Specific Skills: Load, unload and transport construction materials, Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades, Mix, pour and spread materials, Level earth to fine grade specifications, Assist in demolishing buildings, Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity

Work Site Environment: Outdoors, At heights, Confined spaces, Dusty

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Own vehicle, Public transportation is not available

Work Location Information: Various locations
