Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days and weekends. Some overtime will be available.

Education: The applicant should have completed college or technical training.

Experience: two to three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Chemical application certificate or licence.

Specific Skills: Organize and direct greenhouse and nursery operations, Establish and maintain required environment, Supervise planting, transplanting, feeding and spraying

Additional Skills: Order materials and stock

Security and Safety: Basic security clearance

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Attention to detail, Ability to distinguish between colours, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Large workload

Work Site Environment: Hot

Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver’s licence, Own vehicle

Ability to Supervise: 1 to 2 people
