Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days and evenings.

Salary: will be $10.25 per hour for a 44 hour week.
Notes: bonus, and other benefits.
Also: medical, life insurance benefits.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school, some college or technical training, completed college or technical training.

Experience: at least a full year’s experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have First Aid Certificate, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate.

Children’s Ages: School age (6 - 12 years)

Work Setting: Employer’s home

Specific Skills: Supervise and care for children, Bathe, dress and feed infants and children, Prepare infants and children for rest periods, Help children with homework, Organize, activities such as games and outings for children, Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, Read to children, Prepare and serve nutritious meals, Shop for food and household supplies, Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, Tend to emotional well-being of children, Take children to and from school and to appointments, Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children

Security and Safety: Basic security clearance, Criminal record check

Transportation/Travel Information: Travel expenses paid by employer, Public transportation is available

Work Location Information: Work in employer’s/client’s home, Room and board provided, Rural community, Remote location

Essential Skills: Writing, Oral communication, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Finding information
