Terms: This is a permanent, part time job

Salary: will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school, completed college or technical training, completed university.

Experience: at least three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Membership in a professional association, Registration with a professional accreditation body, Industry/Trade certification.

Area of Instruction: Health sciences, Medical equipment and prosthetics, Educational/career counselling, Mental health

Type of Research Experience: Qualitative

Specific Skills: Prepare teaching materials and outlines for courses, Prepare, administer and mark tests and papers to evaluate students’ progress, Advise students on program curricula and career decisions, Deliver lectures and presentations, Lead discussion groups and seminars, Practical experience related to area of instruction

Additional Skills: Use audio-visual equipment

Security and Safety: Criminal record check

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Own vehicle, Valid driver’s licence, Travel expenses paid by employer, Public transportation is available

Work Location Information: Urban area

Ability to Supervise: 11-15 people, 16-20 people

Other Information: Reg’d Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapist, Kinesiologists w/min of 3 yrs practical experience in field. Teaching exp.required. Medical terminology experience in Anatomy & Physiology required.
