Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working evenings.

Salary: will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: two to three years’ experience.

Work Setting: Warehouse

Vehicle and Equipment Experience: Dollies and hand trucks, Industrial lift trucks and forklifts, Towmotors, Reach trucks

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Specific Skills: Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment, Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload and move materials and products, Wrap goods, Maintain and organize inventory, Operate computerized inventory control systems

Additional Skills: Ship orders

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Bending, crouching, kneeling

Work Site Environment: At heights

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Valid driver’s licence

Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Significant use of memory, Computer use, Continuous learning

Other Information: Aftn shift. Positive attitude, problem solver, detail oriented. Experience in shipping, forklift use, loading & unloading trucks in a whse setting. Physical strength and agility, DZ lic. an asset.

We are a wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating and industrial supplies with seven branches in Southwest Ontario. Our Kitchener warehouse serves as the central distribution center for our other six locations.
