Terms: This is a temporary, full time job, which requires working days. Some overtime will be available.

Salary: will be $14.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed college or technical training.

Experience: two to three years’ experience.

Work Setting: Industrial electric motor manufacturers, Control equipment manufacturers

Area of Specialization: Assembly, Installation, Inspection, Testing, Wiring

Specific Skills: Assemble and fit metal and prefabricated parts to close tolerances according to blueprints, Interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics and blueprints, Fit electrical control devices into switchboards and panelboards, Wire electrical connections for switchboards and panel boards, Check final assembly for adherence to quality control standards

Additional Skills: Collect, record and summarize inspection results

Own Tools/Equipment: Safety equipment/gear, Safety glasses/goggles
