Terms: This is a permanent, full time job Shift work is involved.

Salary: will be $12.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: at least a full year’s experience.

Type of Equipment: Wheelabrator, Hoist, Lifting device, Hand truck, Dolly, Hand tools

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Specific Skills: Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal and other materials, Clean work areas and equipment, Load and unload vehicles

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Standing for extended periods

Work Site Environment: Dusty, Hot

Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Computer use, Continuous learning

Other Information: Day shift 7am to 7pm Continental shift.
