Terms: This is a permanent, part time job, which requires working evenings and weekends. Shift work is involved.

Salary: will be $8.90 per hour for a 20 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: a modicum is required.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Smart Serve.

Business Equipment and Computer Applications: Micros, Point-of-sale system

Weight Handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)

Work Setting: Restaurant

Food and Beverage Serving Skills: Serve food and beverages, general plate service, Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings

Wine and Stewarding/Serving Skills: Describe and advise on wine selection, Present, open, pour and serve wine in appropriate wine glassware

Additional Skills: Customer service oriented, Must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages, Assist customers with special needs, Balance cash and record sales, Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas, Replace linen

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Public transportation is not available

Work Location Information: Rural community

Other Information: Shifts: Tuesday & Friday 4:00 p.m. to midnight plus Saturday 5:00 p.m. to midnight.
