Terms: This is a permanent, part time job, which requires working days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Salary: will be $17.29 per hour for a 24 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed college or technical training, completed university.

Experience: is an asset.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Child and Youth Care Worker (CCW/CYW) Diploma, Social Service Worker (SSW) Diploma, Social Service Worker - Gerontology Diploma, Community Support Worker (CSW) Diploma, Human Services Diploma, Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate, First Aid Certificate.

Work Setting: Group home

Target Groups or Clients: Persons with intellectual disabilities

Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Driver’s validity licence check, Medical exam

Transportation/Travel Information: Own vehicle, Valid driver’s licence

Other Information: DSW diploma or degree in human services related field. Direct care in all aspects of daily living. Ensure safety, well being & growth of supported individuals. Promote & support community inclusion.
