Terms: This is a permanent, full time job

Salary: will be per for a 84 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school, completed college or technical training.

Experience: at least three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have 4th Class Marine Engineer Certificate, 3rd Class Marine Engineer Certificate.

Type of Experience: Marine transportation company

Specific Skills: Operate main engines, machinery and auxiliary equipment on ships, Stand engine room watch, Inspect and conduct maintenance and emergency repair, Maintain records and prepare reports on engine performance

Additional Skills: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of engine room crew

Transportation/Travel Information: Willing to travel, Travel expenses paid by employer, Willing to travel cross-border

Work Site Environment: Confined spaces, Noisy, In/on water

Work Location Information: Staff accommodation provided

Ability to Supervise: 1 to 2 people
