Credentials required: The applicant should have Welder Trade Certification, WHMIS Certificate.

Welding Techniques: Flux core arc welding (FCAW)

Type of Machine Experience: Gas welding machines, Arc welding machines

Welding Positions: All positions

Materials: Steel, iron and heavy metals

Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Specific Skills: Interpret welding process specifications, Operate drill presses, Operate hoisting and lifting equipment, Prepare jigs or set-ups for welding

Additional Skills: Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes

Security and Safety: Bondable

Own Tools/Equipment: Tools

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Attention to detail
