Terms: This is a permanent, full time job

Salary: will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school, completed college or technical training, some university, completed university.

Experience: at least five years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have First Aid Certificate, WHMIS, Driver’s License, Gold Seal membership in the Canadian Construction Association.

Specific Skills: Plan, organize, direct and control daily operations, Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates, Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress, Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements, Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control, Select trade subcontractors and co-ordinate their activities, Oversee analysis of data and information, Plan and manage budgets, Direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions, Develop and implement quality control programs, Prepare reports

Additional Skills: Recruit, hire and supervise staff, Hire and supervise activities of subcontractors

Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Driver’s validity license check

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
