Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, and weekends. Shift work is involved.

Salary: will be $30.00 to $34.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed college or technical training, completed university.

Experience: two to three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Licensure as a Registered Nurse by the province/territory of work, CPR certification.

Area of Specialization: General duty, Community, Geriatrics, Home care, Operating room, Palliative care, Recovery room, Rehabilitation unit, Surgical unit

Specific Skills: Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions, Collaborate to plan, implement, co-ordinate and evaluate patient care, Dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician, Monitor, assess, address, document and report symptoms and changes in patients’ conditions, Assist in surgery and other medical procedures, Provide nursing care, Manage home care cases
