Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days and evenings. Shift work is involved.

Salary: will be $30.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed college or technical training.

Experience: at least three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Industrial Instrument Mechanic Trade Certification.

Type of Service and Repair: Electrical control systems, Programmable logic controllers (PLC), Distributed control systems (DCS), Temperature, pressure, flow and level instruments

Type of Instrument Experience: Chemical

Type of Industry Experience: Industrial instruments servicing, Chemical

Specific Skills: Inspect and test operation of instruments and systems, Repair and adjust system components, Remove and replace defective parts, Install new control instruments, Calibrate components and instruments, Determine testing and maintenance procedures, Install new measuring instruments

Additional Skills: Read blueprints, Perform scheduled preventive maintenance work, Complete test and maintenance reports, Read circuit diagrams, Logical approach for troubleshooting
