Credentials required: The applicant should have Gas Fitter Trade Certification, 1st Period Apprentice, 2nd Period Apprentice, 3rd Period Apprentice, Provincial Gas Fitter Licence, Driver’s License.

Area of Specialization: Connections of piping, ranges, dryers, barbecues and other appliances

Specific Skills: Repair and service gas appliances, Install gas appliances

Additional Skills: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications, Estimate labour and material costs, Prepare tenders and quotations

Security and Safety: Driver’s validity license check

Own Tools/Equipment: Tools

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail

Work Site Environment: Confined spaces

Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver’s licence
