Terms: This is a casual, full time job Shift work is involved.

Salary: will be $22.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed college or technical training.

Experience: the best part of a year.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Licensure by the appropriate province or territory of work, Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination.

Work Setting: Hospital, Home care or visiting care agency, Home for the aged, Nursing or convalescent home

Area of Specialization: General duty

Registered Nursing Assistant Specific Skills: Take patients’ blood pressure, temperature and pulse, Change patients’ dressings, Provide safety and health education to individuals and their families, Assist registered nurses with various medical procedures

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Physically demanding

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation
