Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days. Some overtime will be available.

Salary: will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant.

Education: The applicant should have completed college or technical training.

Experience: at least five years’ experience.

Type of Machine Experience: Conventional, Computer Numerical Control (CNC)

Machining Tools and Machines: CNC machines

Measuring Tools: Micrometers, Callipers, Gauges

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Specific Skills: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables, Program computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools, Set up and adjust production machinery, Verify dimensions of machined tools and parts using precision measuring instruments, Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Standing for extended periods

Work Site Environment: Non-smoking, Air conditioned

Essential Skills: Reading text, Numeracy, Oral communication, Working with others
