Terms: This is a casual, part time job, which requires working days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Shift work is involved.

Salary: will be $11.54 to $12.00 per hour for a 15 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: two to three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.

Work Setting: Recreational Facility

Specific Maintenance Activities: Remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse, Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on heating, cooling and ventilation systems, Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on electrical systems, Perform routine maintenance jobs and repairs, Work with minimal supervision

Office/Administration activities: Perform safety and security checks

Equipment Operated/Used: Industrial vacuum cleaners/power sweepers, Polishing machines, Power tools, Swimming pool maintenance and cleaning equipment

Security and Safety: Criminal record check

Own Tools/Equipment: Uniform

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Bending, crouching, kneeling

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Public transportation is available
