Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working evenings and nights. Shift work is involved.

Salary: will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: at least a full year’s experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Security Guard Licence.

Type of Assignments: Fixed post

Specific Skills: Enforce regulations of establishments, Use telecommunications (i.e. two-way radio, cell phone, pager), Follow radio and emergency telephone procedures, Monitor security television, Ensure safety and emergency procedures are followed, Write reports

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, Sitting, Combination of sitting, standing, walking

Transportation/Travel Information: Own vehicle, Valid driver’s licence

Other Information: Permanent position. Security guard license required. Active patrol duties in downtown apartment buildings. Police Foundations and/or experience required. Own transportation and DL a definite asset.
