Terms: This is a permanent, part time job, which requires working days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Shift work is involved.

Salary: will be $15.11 per hour for a 25 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: is an asset.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Child and Youth Care Worker (CCW/CYW) Diploma, Human Services Diploma, First Aid Certificate.

Work Setting: Group home

Target Groups or Clients: Male, Female, Children, Adolescents

Specific Skills: Obtain information and prepare reports or case histories, Resolve conflict situations, Supervise activities of clients living in group homes and half-way houses, Supervise children’s visits with parents to ensure their safety

Security and Safety: Bondable, Criminal record check, Driver’s validity licence check

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Valid driver’s licence, Public transportation is available
