Terms: This is a seasonal, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Shift work is involved. Some overtime will be available.

Salary: will be $12.00 per hour for a 44 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: at least three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Forklift Operator Certification, WHMIS Certificate.

Work Setting: Manufacturing plant

Vehicle and Equipment Experience: Industrial lift trucks and forklifts, Towmotors, Radio frequency scanners (RFS)

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Specific Skills: Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment, Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload and move materials and products, Pick orders and stock, Stack goods, Handle dangerous goods and hazardous products, Maintain and organize inventory

Additional Skills: Ship orders

Security and Safety: Driving record check (abstract)

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Valid driver’s licence, Public transportation is not available
