Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working evenings.

Salary: will be $16.00 to $18.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed college or technical training.

Experience: at least five years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Forklift Operator Certification.

Work Setting: Sheet metal shop

Type of Machine or Equipment Set Up or Operation: Computer - numerical control equipment

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Specific Skills: Read specifications or follow verbal instructions, Cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products, Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications, Troubleshoot, perform corrective action or minor repairs, Document work completed, Clean and lubricate equipment

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Attention to detail

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation

Essential Skills: Reading text, Working with others, Computer use, Continuous learning

Other Information: The ideal employee should have experience with running Amada CNC fabrication equipment; turret punch press, laser cutter and brake press equipment.
