Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days. Some overtime will be available.

Salary: will be $14.00 to $16.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Experience: at least three years’ experience.

Work Setting: Private sector

Business Equipment and Computer Applications: Windows, General office equipment, Electronic mail, Word processing software, MS Word, Spreadsheet software, Excel, ACCPAC

Typing (Words Per Minute): 61 - 80 wpm

Specific Skills: Type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents, Receive and forward telephone or electronic enquiries, Maintain and prepare reports from manual or electronic files, inventories, mailing lists and databases, Sort, process and verify applications, receipts and other documents, Process incoming and outgoing mail manually or electronically, Send and receive messages, Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, Prepare invoices and bank deposits, Provide general information to clients and the public, Order supplies and maintain inventory, Photocopy and collate documents for distribution, mailing and filing

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Combination of sitting, standing, walking

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation

Essential Skills: Working with others, Problem solving, Job task planning and organizing, Computer use

Languages: Other than English, the applicant should speak French, read French, write French.
