Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days.

Salary: will be $12.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Documentation Knowledge: Driver logbook, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip)

Communication Equipment Experience: Cellular phone, Satellite tracking (GPS) equipment

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Specific Skills: Loading and unloading of goods, Plan travel schedules and routes, Use atlases and other trip planning aids, Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment

Additional Skills: Handle inquiries from customers, Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques

Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Driving record check (abstract)

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding

Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver’s licence

Essential Skills: Reading text, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Computer use
