Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, and weekends.

Salary: will be $33,000.00 to $39,000.00 per year for a 40 hour week.
Notes: bonus, and other benefits.

Education: The applicant should have completed college or technical training.

Experience: at least a full year’s experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Baker Trade Certification, 2nd Period Apprentice, 3rd Period Apprentice, Baker Red Seal Certificate.

Work Setting: Bake shop

Food Specialties: Desserts and pastries, Wedding and specialty cakes, Donuts and muffins, Cake decorating

Specific Skills: Prepare doughs and batters, Bake mixed dough and batters, Prepare special orders, Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods, Draw up production schedules, Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards, Inspect kitchen and food service areas

Additional Skills: Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies, Maintain records and inventory, Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff, Train staff, Schedule staff, Oversee sales
