Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days. Some overtime will be available.

Salary: will be $12.00 to $15.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: is an asset.

Work Setting: Heavy machinery manufacturing plant

Type of Equipment: Deburrer, Hoist, Lifting device, Hand truck, Dolly, Hand tools

Weight Handling: More than 45 kg (100 lbs)

Specific Skills: Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale and other materials from surfaces of metal products, Clean work areas and equipment, Load and unload vehicles, Grind or chip excess metal from metal products

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination

Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Finding information, Continuous learning

Other Information: Mechanically inclined individual required, experienced in shop activities.A good attitude is required with a desire to get things done. Possibly leading to apprenticeship.
