Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working nights and weekends.

Salary: will be $22.00 to $25.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school, completed college or technical training.

Experience: at least three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Technical Standards Safety Authority (TSSA) Certification.

Specific Skills: Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment, Fit, braze and torch-straighten metal, Operate hoisting and lifting equipment, Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products, Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat, Safety glasses/goggles, Face shield, Welding helmet

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Standing for extended periods
