Terms: This is a permanent, full time job

Salary: will be $35,000.00 per year for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed college or technical training.

Experience: at least three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate.

Work Setting: Fitness centre

Type of Clients: General population (all ages)

Area of Functional Expertise: Athletic safety or standards regulation, Program planning and development, Program evaluation, Exercise physiology (physical rehabilitation)

Specific Skills: Conduct fitness tests and assessments, Conduct research and develop government policies related to recreation, sports, fitness and athletic safety and standards, Design, develop and deliver rehabilitative exercise programs, Conduct Functional Capability Evaluations (FCE’s)/Functional Abilities Evaluations (FAE’S), Conduct job site analyses (JSA’s)/Physical demands analyses (PDA’s)

Additional Skills: Answer requests, inquiries and complaints, Perform administrative tasks, Use computer applications

Ability to Supervise: Staff in various areas of responsibility
